Placido Rodriguez-Santiago, 43, and Omar Steven Rodriguez-Santiago, 43, both of Harrisburg, were arrested on July 24, police say and court records confirm.
Omar was charged with the following:
- Felony Aggravated Assault - Attempts to cause Serious Bodily Injury or causes injury with extreme indifference.
- Misdemeanor Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another.
- Misdemeanor Simple Assault.
- Misdemeanor Possession of an Instrument of Crime With Intent.
Placido was charged with the following:
- Misdemeanor Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another.
- Misdemeanor Simple Assault.
Patrol officers first became aware of the stabbing when they were called to "a local hospital in reference to a stabbing victim" around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, as stated in the original release.
The officers arrived to learn the man had been stabbed earlier that day in the 1600 Block of Revere Street in Harrisburg.
Rodriguez-Santiago has been held in the Dauphin County Prison on $25,000 in bail set by Magisterial District Judge Paul T. Zozos during his preliminary arraignment at 10 p.m. on July 24, according to his latest court docket. He is scheduled to appear before the judge again for his preliminary hearing at 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 13.
He and Placido also have an active case for theft in the county but updated court dates were unavailable at the time of publishing.
During an investigation, the police obtained the following images from a local surveillance camera.
